I’m Melissa (also known as Millie), founder and creative director of Millie Creative.
I am a self-taught graphic designer with a business background in marketing and information systems. I am a mum of two boys and our darling daughter and wife to my partner in crime both in life and business.
This little venture started as a hobby in late 2017 where I first created custom party stationery and favours for friends and family. As I found a passion in design and all things personalised, I quickly realised that there was a lack of local suppliers for modern and stylish signage and event stationery. From there I decided to turn my hobby into a dream job where I get to spend my days being creative and working with some amazing clients and talented stylists.
In 2019 we decided to expand the business by offering a range of different services including a hire range of modern props and furniture, semi-customisable party packages, and custom styling and event planning. This allowed us to offer a one-stop-shop for all DIY-ers and party planners.
All our items are professionally made with majority of our large props built in-house by my husband who is a qualified licensed builder. We ensure that every item you receive from us is made with love and specifically designed with YOU, our customer, in mind.
